  They say parking is validated for an hour and a half. I wanted to eat lunch and go to the market next door after and get some Israeli snacks and drinks. After spending over $36 on a meal and desert at canters I paid and got my parking validated. Granted I ate very fast as to not waste that hour and a half of validity for parking I paid and as I walked out I was stopped By the waitress with long dark brown hair and crummy necklaces. She snapped at me for not heading towards the parking lot and going the opposite direction. She said I'm only validated for parking if I'm at canters. I told her I was only going to be ten minutes. She said I would get towed. I would not run a business this way because customers wouldn't come back. Not even sure how kosher they are if they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day.

  I enjoy having lunch here. The best Ruben in all of Cali honestly. Price is a little high but the food is good enough for me not to complain. The decor is still the same from the 20's but that's cool too I guess, however the place could really use a renovation so it doesn't look so dinghy. All in all I would recommend, just don't go on the weekends when the place is so crowded that it takes forever to get service. Thumbs up.
