  This place has the worst service I've ever experienced in my whole life. We went Sunday at 9pm. We were a party of 6 and they only had tables set up for 4 people. We waited outside while there were many empty tables inside and they never called us in. Whenever they came out to call (they called in 3 groups of 2 and 2 groups of 4) and kept saying oh we don't have tables for 6 we'll set something up. 1 hour later we went inside and realized they basically gave zero f@&* about their waiting customers and we left.

  Classic LA Thai spot, it's not as good as it used to be but it's still a great place for Thai food. I always bring people from out of town here. I always get everything super spicy here. It's incredibly hot, but still lots of flavor.
  
  The only bad is the wait time. The last time I was told a 15-20 min wait. We didn't get seated till almost 1.5 hours later...

  Though I don't necessarily agree with all of Jonathon Gold's recommendations, this place is a definite favorite. The duck fried rice, mussels (with that killer broth) and the curries are fantastic. Try one of the fried fish specials if they have it and be adventurous with the noodle selections: pad thai and pad see eew is not going to inspire you.
