  Simply my favorite restaurant to take the family to. Originally I was blown away by the beer selection, they have the best German hefeweizens. I highly recommend the Weihenstephaner; trust me, I've been trying them all since getting hooked on them in Kassel, Germany in the 90s and have had trouble finding anything comparable for decades in Britain or America. Recently, I've become a fan of their cocktails; they have amazing old fashioneds. The significant other opposes whiskey drinks though, but fear not! They have several old fashioneds! The one that sold her is the sour cherry old fashioned, which is made with rum believe it or not! Pro tip, just specify "the one with rum" as the staff actually have been unsure on several occasions about the difference, despite being on THEIR menu! It has "zaya gran reserva rum."
  As far as food is concerned, you must order the California Roll as a starter, It is second to none. It is not a roll, but rather a cake, and is simply delightful. The last that sold us is the ambiance; it is loud, but not too so. This is perfect since we have a rather loud toddler and sometimes he can be trying at times. Since the music is "somewhat" loud, it is the subterfuge necessary for the wife and I to keep our sanity if our kid gets a little "loud."
  One of our latest routines is to catch a matinee at the the theatre across the way with our kid, and then pay a visit to the Yardhouse right after.
  The only gripe I have is that the place can be quite crowded in the evenings so be sure to pack plenty of patience as waiting for a table, especially with a little one, can be a test to say the least.

  We came here with a large group of friends (approximately 16 people) for a birthday dinner and had a great time. It was my one and only time at the Yard House. I really enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the restaurant and the wide variety of beers available. The service was surprisingly fast and friendly for our servers to have to deal with such a large party. They even split up all of our checks! As far as I know, everyone enjoyed his or her meal; I know I loved mine. My only complaint would be that the prices seemed very high. I think I paid $20 for steak tacos. $16 seemed to be the average price per meal. I would love to come back here with friends or even for a date night!
