Alcove is cute and the food is delicious, but the parking is awful.

I came in one morning and it wasn't very busy. I ordered at the counter and sat down outside because it was sunny and warm and they had enough shade to shield my already-blind-as-a-bat eyes. My food took probably 15 minutes or so and it was really good.

The prices are pretty standard as far as nice cafes go. You're not going to get Denny's prices, but you're not going to suffer rip off hotel prices either.

Alcove is probably pretty great for a brunch date or for impressing your mother-in-law.

One of my favorite places. Gorgeous decor and delicious food. Their summer movie nights are my favorite as they create a fun themed menu in accordance with the film! Great for lunch, dinner, and a midnight cap.

Food and drinks are really good. Parking is a mission and if you're starving don't expect to be served quickly, be ready to wait. Small business not so spacious but cute and homey.

I ordered a tasty caramel cappuccino and a Montecristo sandwich. My friend ordered a sunny croissant that was really good. The carrot and orange juice was not the best I've ever tasted. I would try another fruit drink if you're thinking of ordering that one.

    We went on a Sunday.

Alcove had a hip and trendy feel to it, as expect of many place in Los Feliz. The prices match the amount of food you get - generous portions. We ordered a tuna melt with a side salad, a Alcove burger with fries and a slice of carrot cake. The burger was pretty good and they gave a lot of avocado, to my surprise. The tuna melt was good but I think The Robin Hood still holds the best tuna melt in LA for me. The carrot cake was moist and the slice took up a whole plate. It's definitely more then enough for two to share. In fact, we could have probably just ordered one sandwich and the slice of cake and it would have been enough. There is some seating inside but it gets loud. The outdoor seating in front of the cafe had heaters and there was quite a bit of seating out there. All in all a nice place and I will definitely come back here to try the other desserts and sandwiches on the menu!

Amy and Anita are always so amazing when I come to Pillion International Bakery.! They make it fresh when you come in and order so you get your pastries hot and delicious. They have such a cool atmosphere here on the inside and outside as well. The girls customer service today deserves the five star rating I'm giving for an abundance of reasons. I always enjoy my trip here knowing that when I reach Papilla the service is always wonderful.!! Thank you ladies.! Have a blessed rest of your day.! Fellow Los Angele's check this location out; you'll love it.!!
