  Delicious pizza that has a good kick to it. It is possible that putting the name of Lucifer on the door oversold the spicy element and I thought I was gonna have face melting spicy pizza. The restaurant does not have air conditioning, which will add a different element of heat to your meal. The pizza was good, spicy but not devil-spicy, and you get to sweat because of the ambient heat of the restaurant.

  Need to update my review after coming back to Mezzo.I ordered the same pizza and it was delicious again.I also tried the quinoa salad came with feta, peppers, avocado, and a mustard dressing.I will definitely order it again.I'm a big fan of Mezzo!

  Today I decided to try the gluten free pizza, and I was quite disappointed to find that it contains sugar .Knocking them down a star for that.According to their website only the gluten free crust has sugar; the regular and wheat crust does not.I just think it's weird you can't get a gluten free pizza that is also sugar free, as both are equally as bad, for me anyway. I have a fussy system! The pizza was OK but I could definitely taste the sugar in the crust, yuck.

  Deep dish in LA is hard to find, especially if you don't live in the hipster havens like Silverlake. Lucifers is a great way to get a unique style of pizza for pick up or delivery for a reasonable price.
  
  We ordered recently, and I was very happy with the taste and quality. The crust was different than any I had had before, but I found it interesting. It's worth a try and we will definitely be ordering again!
