  Been dying to find a good tri tip place close by and this is it! I must have passed it a hundred times. Had the tri tip sandwich with coleslaw, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, and baked beans. Everything was perfect. Will definitely go back!

  The 1 in Compton was MUCH better..This food caters to who it's made for. And it's definitely not Me or mines.. #watereddown The soul is Gone.. Nice atmosphere. Descent people, with the Typical L.A. nasty nice attitude. And a staff that looks far different then compton

  Great barbecue meal in Southern California! I was impressed with the quality of the meat here, and the sides were absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't get enough of the Mac n Cheese and the potato salad. I'm not a huge meat person, but my boyfriend is. He's from Texas, so he knows good barbecue from bad, and he was very pleased with the meats here. He got the pork ribs and the pulled pork. Despite the very casual, cafeteria sort of atmosphere to the restaurant, including delivering the food on trays, I actually really enjoyed it and thought it was really lively! It has a dim ambiance inside and with simple wooden tables and wood floors that I though went really well together. They bring the food out on trays, so it's designed to share around the whole table, but it works well because the portions are very generous! The bill can add up pretty quickly if you don't keep your eye on it, but the ordering system is very quick and simple, selecting what you want on a checklist and giving it to the waiter. A very hearty, filling, delicious meal in a lovely environment. I greatly enjoyed!
