  Had the famous #19 sandwich. Called the #19 because it is $19. Pricey, but worth it. Sandwich was near perfect. I'm not a fan of pastrami too. Only thing that wasn't good was the crust on the bread which was tough/stale. Restaurant is old but very clean. Also the area where the restaurant is located is loaded with crackheads. Even so, would definitely go back.

  Everything is about twice as expensive as it ought to be. There are no extras to offset the overpricing. A bagel with lox and cream cheese and mealy tomatoes didn't include capers or cucumbers. Sure, it came with half a decent homemade pickle and four pitted black olives from a can on the side but, was it worth $18 before tax? No, of course not. The servers are sweet at times. They can be amazingly slow to get to the table though. You can't get them to settle your bill from the table. You HAVE to go stand in line and deal with the slow, detached service of the cashiers. People are in lines around the corner for this on the weekends?
  
  Do yourself a favor and avoid lines by dropping in during the week.
  
  I have been to Langer's in a pinch, feeling sick, desperate for chicken soup, and glad to have at least something resembling a deli in the area.

  Went there with my wife after Women's March. She loves pastrami, I am so-so about it. We split a #19, only on an onion bun instead of rye. Add potato salad and cream soda and it was great. So good we ordered another to take home. She says best ever, I say really, really good. Great service.
