  Some of the bad reviews on here are from a long time ago, so I don't know how accurate they are now. I can tell you that my wife and I have eaten here at least 7 times over the past year (2014), and every time was amazing. We almost always get the Chefs 5 course choice. The service is always fast and great. Some of the reviews talk about poor service, FYI.. That can happen at any restaurant anytime, but hasn't happened to me in the 7 times I've been there. I personally don't think this place is overpriced, I think that the quality is worth the price. If you are cheap and not a foodie, then this place might not be for you. But if you love quality food as much as i do then this place is a must go in LA.. Rapheal is in my top 3 restaurants in LA. Hope this helps.

  Great elegant place. Quality wine list. Pleasant patrons. Take a date here to impress. However portions on main course items are relatively small. Mashed potatoes are the size of my Cats fist ;) bottom line I had to order $80 of food just to get full w/ a date. I'd rather spend that on drinks ;) I would come back but please increase the auxiliary potions. And no nacho cheese ? Wtf. A befff.

  Cake Buzz enjoyed meeting Mr. Raphael, really nice, pleasant guy. We were there for the POSHMARK 2nd Anniversary event and loved the decor, friendliness of the servers and atmosphere. Only downside is the portions of food was too small for the price.
